Still in use today, Synangogue of Cong. Mikvé Israel – Emanuel of Curaçao ’Snoa’ is the oldest synagoue in the Americas and stands proudly in the middle of Punda, in Willemstad, Curaçao’s capital city. Its remarkable architecture, solid mahogany interior, 18th century cooper chandeliers and sand covered floor have made it one of the most cherised monuments and the number one tourist attraction in Curaçao.
